Carl F. Jordan Receives Conservationist of the Year Award

Oconee River Soil & Water Conservation District


On September 27th, 2011 at the Annual Affiliate Members Meeting it was announced that Spring Valley EcoFarms received the award for the District's 2011 Conservationist-of-the-Year award.

The District covers Barrow, Clarke, Jackson and Oconee Counties. The District Board works through programs and other agencies to make the public aware of the continuing need to conserve soil and water, and to improve water quality.
