Spring Valley EcoFarms is a non-profit organization focusing on education, research, and outreach to promote more ecologically sustainable agriculture. Its seat is Spring Valley Farm, 100 acres in the Georgia Piedmont. The vision is to reduce reliance on external subsidies in agricultural systems through incorporating free services of nature. The goal is to develop a model for conservation of biological diversity and to provide a laboratory where ecological science and theory are put to a real-world test.

The farm at Spring Valley is a unique venue for events; we are located 5 minutes from downtown Athens on a 100 acre park.

The farmhouse is available for party rentals and is fully equipped. It has been historically restored and dates from the 1860’s. The unique character of the house and the location will make any event memorable and the convenient location will be a plus for your guests.

The farm features pastures, creeks, a lake and an old growth oak stand of historical importance.
There are horses, birds, rabbits and all kinds of other animals being kept and bred on the grounds. We also have a vineyard, tree plantations, fruit orchards, an organic garden and much more (too much to list here).

We are also proud to feature the possibility of doing wagon rides . Perfect for kids and wedding parties.

The farm site is full of fantastic "photo op" locations, and the natural diversity has inspired everyone that has visited it in the past.

The house is around 2500 square feet and fully air conditioned/ heated. There are two bathrooms and a full kitchen. There are three bedrooms, a conference room/ living room, a second floor loft looking over the garden and separate living quarters if needed.

Around back there is a wrap-around porch over looking the yard where pit bar-b-queues can take place. From the back enjoy a view to the old forest and grazing pastures.

Rates are very reasonable, and there are many options for setting up events just the way you envisioned.
